I use Word 2010. I have 3 Avery Templates that I use which are 8965 (Jewel Case Standard and Slimline Inserts), 8315 (Matte White Note Cards), and 3265 (White Half-Fold Greeting Cards). My question is this. How do I set it up in Word or my printer to print to the edge, as in the template itself it goes all the way to the edge which makes me think that it will in fact print to the edge, but when I print it out, it leaves white boarders all around the edges of the template.
Can you please help me with this on how I should set it to where it prints just the way that it looks on the template. Would I set it up this way in Word or my printer to print to the edge? Also, I use Avery Template 8371 (White Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards). What I need to know is this. In Word I go to Page Layout and select Page Color to add a background color for the whole page.

What I need to know is this. In that specific template, is there a way that I can just add the background color to inside the cards themselves and not the whole page and how do you do it as this is a waste of color. In the Labels dialog, click on New Document, then via the Page LayoutPage Setup dialog, make a note of the top and left margins and then define a custom sheet of paper and then increase the top and left margins so that the actual labels remain in the same place. For example, if you define a custom size sheet that is 2cm wider and 2cm longer, increase the top and left margins by 1cm. This all assumes that your printer does not throw a hissy fit when you try and print a document with the paper size defined in that way. It’s the same layout as the ML-3000. As a matter of fact, it’s the same product. The only difference is in how the labels are packaged.
The ML-3000 address label, which is the same layout as the Avery® 5160, is packaged in boxes of 100 sheets. The ML-3025, on the other hand, is packaged in boxes of 25 sheets. The label is a removable label that is useful for many things. They’re a little bit larger than many of the other smaller pricetag labels, so if you need to stick a lot more information, like product description on the label, you’ll have the room.
Click on the picture below to download the template. These labels are marketed as non-machinable, or for hand written applications only, but folks have been printing on them.
There are some that will have no problem printing this label, but there are some printers for which the labels might become detached, or the color may run slightly onto the fuser unit in some laser printers, so we don’t recommend you use a printer to print on these labels unless you know the labels will not come off in the printer, or the colors will not run.
